~Filmography~

Janet has been acting since she was a very young girl. It came natural to her and launched far before her music career. She had several tv shows, Good Times, Different Strokes, Fame. Her first film was her Rhythm Nation 1814 short film, a 20 minute movie about drugs, racism and violence set in a black and white industrial theme containing 4 songs from her Rhythm Nation 1814 album. Janet then ventured into feature film movies. Her first big screen movie was Poetic Justice with Tupac Shakur.

Janet is filming a brand new movie yet again with Tyler Perry after the successful Why Did I Get Married Too. Keep your eyes out for it....Janet is on a role hitting the big screen these days.
